Serving and Caring

Being a disciple of Christ Jesus means following his teachings: the ministry of care is the way Bethany members live out Jesus' teachings: "Come, you that are blessed by my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: for I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me, I was naked and you gave me clothing, I was sick and you took care of me, I was in prison and you visited me."
-- Matthew 25:34-36

Cards of Care Campaign

Please consider helping families in need by donating a Food or Gas gift card. Weis, Giant Eagle, Sheetz or GetGo cards go a long way in helping families stretching to make ends meet each month. Cards in $25 or larger amounts are always welcome. You can turn your cards into either Lisa or Pastor Betty in the office at any time. Unless you wish to remain anonymous, please include your name for our stewardship records.

Keep Collecting those Soda Can Tabs

A third jug on the Information Table desk has been donated for our soda pop tabs collection. Let’s see how many Bethany can collect to help hurting kids and their families at the Shriners' Burn Hospitals and Ronald McDonald Houses.
